Bellow are a list of key terms we use through out this site.

CHARTER:
The charter is a document that details the requirements
of the project, the (Critical to Quality) CTQ's, the team
members and their roles, the project scope, why are you
doing the project (problem statement), and what is the
expected deliverable of the project. The charter is a
working document. It should be expected to change during
the project cycle. |

Critical
To Quality (CTQ): CTQ's are deliverables defined by
the customer. These are the few things that make the customer
happy. CTQ's can be specific functionality(ies) of the
application or simple steps of the process that need to
be capture. CTQ's are usally the result of the Voice
of the Customer |

Project:
A Project is tean of individuals with a common goal whose
effort creates a product, service, or process. Regardless
of their size projects can have common characteristics |

Stakeholder:
The stakeholders are the individuals who are paying for
the project or are responsible for the different applications,
processes, or services that the process involves |

Voice Of
The Customer(VOC): The VOC is what the customer is
telling you, they want to fix or accomplish. Most of the
time, the voice of the customer is captured through a
survey or one on one conversations with the customer |

Quality
Functional Deployment Tool (QFD): The QFD is tool
that use to narrow the scope of the project by analysing
the customer expectations (Y's) versus the product or
service requirements(X's). Each Y is waited against the
Xs' and the Y's with higher score represent the more important
factors for the customer. |
