The problem statement describes the issue at hand and it must answer the question "why are we doing the project.

The problem statement for this project is:

"Our Current production of bicycle is 1,500,000. Current Market demand is 3,200,000. Our Sales team anticipates a growing demand of 35% per year. Currently our factory is working at 80% capacity. In order to meet market demand we need to increase Productivity of Bicycle or we may loose market share."
